About e-WebShop
FyneWeb e-WebShop System for Small Businesses is
fully configurable and operates separately from your existing web site. You don't need to know any HTML or have any knowledge of Active Server Pages, VBScript or MS Access databases.
You don't need an FTP application or a Web Publishing programme like FrontPage or Macromedia.
All you require is a means of photographing your products, software to compress and resize your photos for the Web, a PC and a link from your existing web site.
You probably have all this already. Even if you don't have Internet Merchant account status just yet then your customers can still use the "Cheque by post" and the "Credit card by fax/post" payment methods until you business expands to the extent where you feel that an Internet Merchant account would be a beneficial addition to your business. We would advise
that, with no setup fees, PayPal still remains an attractive offer for newcomers to eCommerce on the web.

utilities which are available at e-WebShop
e-WebShop is a server/client e-shopping application based on Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) technology conversing with a Microsoft
Access 2003 (*.mdb) database.
After installation, setup and configuration the system is ready to work with your business in accepting eCommerce transactions. Customers can browse the various categories of
products and add items of their choice to their "shopping basket" at your new eWebShop.
Your customer then enters delivery and payment details and submits
their order, which is then processed and posted to an Orders database. If
WorldPay or PayPal are chosen then your customer is directed over a secure
connection to these 3rd party Payment Gateways to provide their credit
/ debit card details with confidence.
There is also an option to upload your own graphics into the header area of e-WebShop to brand more in tune with your own business.
Optional payment Methods
Fax or Post / Post Cheque / *PayPal / *WorldPay
If you do not currently have a PayPal business account then go to *PayPal International
Business Accounts and Sign Up Today. The other option for online
payment is WorldPay which is a 3rd party Payment Gateway owned by
the Royal Bank of Scotland.
*WorldPay
Merchant Account can be applied for only when you have arranged
with a bank of your choice the setting up of a Merchant account to trading
on the Internet.
All the above conclude transactions with a print Invoice option.
e-WebShop is designed for manual processing of orders. Email notification is sent to both Merchant and client on order
completion. The main orders Database offers many choices of retrieving various types of order information. There is also an option to sort and import viewable tables into Microsoft Excel for
your convenience if required. There is also online Stock Control for eWebShop products with email notification if any item goes below a configurable global threshold.
Hosting Requirements
To
use e-WebShop, your eCommerce site will need
to be hosted on a sub domain off e-webshops.com. This means that if you have an existing site then you just need to create a link to your new eCommerce site e.g.
mybusiness.e-webshops.com.
This must be hosted with us to access various facilities and eWebShop
dynamic scripts which reside on our servers. We can also offer extremely favourable pricing for
hosting, maintaining, promoting and marketing of your existing web site.
Or maybe your web site is "tired" and requires a complete
overhaul? All you have to do is email us.
You do not require any form of programming skills to be a Merchant using e-WebShop
as it has been designed with the use of ASPUpload and ASPJpeg for the transferring and resizing of images together with convenient forms for the creation of new Categories and the uploading of Product
Graphics and text.
The only requirement for your clients is that their PC accepts cookies since the application uses browser session cookies for some features. The cookies expire when the user
session expires. Only one cookie is permanently stored on the client's computer but they have the option to reject this if they desire (shipping address info.).
